RBL Solar 2 is an exciting solar energy project proposed by RBL Solar. The proposal will deliver solar PV arrays, a substation, and a grid connection cable on a closed landfill site. The project will help support local and national net zero targets on a landfill site while avoiding the use of productive agricultural land, ensuring important farmland is preserved.
Project overview
The proposed project is located on approximately 62 hectares of land adjacent to Richborough Energy Park and will provide up to 49.9 MW of renewable energy when combined with the previously consented solar farm to the north.
